CARSON CITY – Nevada kept its standing so far this year as the best economy in the United States, according to State Policy Reports. The report ranks states based upon their latest performance including individual income growth, employment growth and population growth
“Nevada’s economic situation is strong and on the right track,” said Gov. Steve Sisolak. “State Policy Reports’ ranking is another key indicator that Nevada is not only a great place to live but a great place to be in business. Across all agencies, we are laser focused on creating opportunities for Nevadans.”
Nevada beat Texas and Florida in economic performance. Nevada’s employment increased 9.7% over the past year compared with the national average of 4.7%.
Nevada’s individual income grew by 10.%, slightly behind Florida and Texas at 10.3%.
