CARSON CITY — Nevada’s state museums will open their doors later this month and in July with modified hours and operations.
Visitors, staff and volunteers are required to wear masks at all times inside museum facilities and maintain at least six feet of social distance from other visitors. Family groups are limited to 10 people and must stay together. To promote social distancing, museum staff may control the flow of visitors so as not to exceed capacity, which may result in delays during busy times.
Additional steps to promote safety include:
- Museums are ADA accessible.
- No food allowed, except bottled water.
- Follow the directional arrows and signage through the museum.
- Touchable surfaces will be sanitized throughout the day.
