CARSON CITY – The Indian Creek Campground, located adjacent to the Indian Creek Reservoir in Alpine County, Calif., will remain closed through May the Bureau of Land Management’s Sierra Front Field Office announced today.

The closure, which may be extended based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health and safety of staff and visitors. The campground is usually open from May through October.

Other trails and open space in the Carson City District remain open for use, with observance of social distancing and health guidelines from the CDC. For details visit blm.gov/office/carson-city-district-office
